D'accordissimo! infatti trovo ipocrita la richiesta di boicottaggio agli atleti ... mentre avrebbe più senso il boicottaggio delle personalità di stato ... e ancora meglio se non avessero assegnato le Olimpiadi alla Cina. Ma visto che non si può fare marci indietro è bene sfruttare i riflettori internazionali per parlare dei diritti umani e delle repressioni in atto.
Boicottare la Cina? Ma scherziamo! E' il paese emergente sul panorama mondiale, è la maggior potenza con cui avviare intensi scambi commerciali.. e chiediamo a chi ci governa di boicottare? Ma ci ricordiamo che da molti anni l'Italia è impresa e non più stato dei cittadini? Oggi il Tibet, domani potrebbe toccare anche a noi! Io ho acceso la mia piccola candela sul davanzale.. io continuo a sperare che la forza delle persone sia la scintilla del cambiamento..
io sono un idealista e molto utopico ma spero sempre che la gente capisca di avere il piccolo potere di cambiare il sistma in cui vive con le piccole azioni quotidiane, ad esempio fare spesa!
Anche in Second Life sono state accese candele (sintetiche ma pur sempre luminose...)

You are all invited to share in a peaceful candle vigil in the stupa in support of a peaceful resolution for the Tibetan people. We will stream the music of Tibetan singer Yungchen Lhamo from her CD "Ama'. Everyone who has placed a candle on their sim please go & register the candle at www.candle4tibet.org if you do not do this your candle doesnt count in the official total. We cannot do this for you. Its very easy just your name and email address is all they ask for and some people are even including their avatar pic on the map.

7.30pm-GALAXIA BENOIR 8.00pm-SPACEJUNKY CONCERT Announcement of winner of the Tibetan Peace Torch Photo Contest Prize 5000L donated by Izzy Cole Photography Studio.
We are having a contest for your Tibetan Peace Torch. Send us pictures of your torch on your sim. Izzy Cole Photography is donating 5000 Linden for a picture of the most beautiful setting of the torch. The contest will be judged by Shakti Cianci and Izzy Cole, and will be announced at the festival on August 8th. 'Please send your entries to Izzy by midnight SL time August 6th. The winning picture will be displayed on Shangria at SpaceJunky Plaza with a LM to your sim or business. Both snapshots and photoshopped pics will be accepted. Light up your sim and let us see what you have done!

Si è giusto pensare al Tibet, ma che intervenga il governo con provvedimenti alla Cina non pretendere che siano gli atleti a pensarci boicottando...
